Hi
For some reason entrance to the app only works with the Administrator role. Without making users admins could we add specific capabilities that permit scanning? What are they?

The capabilities are listed in the documentation:

Alternatively you can use the Application passwords plugin and the users can get an Application Password for any admin account (they will not be able to log into the WP dashboard with the Application Password). There’s more info in the documentation about Application Passwords:
