Currently there is not a system for sending automatic event reminder emails. I assume you’re looking to send a reminder to attendees say x days in advance of the event? That type of system will be available in a later version of Event Espresso 4 (e.g. 4.3 or 4.4).
The best thing to do is send a manual email to your attendees by using the Newsletter function in Event Espresso or use an email service like MailChimp so schedule those auto emails.
