The Event Registrations Export CSV report does not create downloadable file in Chrome. Instead it adds a batch file to my site files.

It works fine in Firefox and Edge.

Running WP 5.5.3 and Event Espresso 4.10.10

Hi there,

When using Chrome, what happens on the site?

The registration export will create a batch file regardless of the browser you use, however once the download is complete it is then removed so I’m guessing there is an error being thrown during the request with Chrome?

The site returns to the event registration list but does not offer the chance to save or open the file.

Hmm, strange.

Have you tested this with only Event Espresso active on the site?

Create a database backup before proceeding (just to be safe).

The use troubleshooting mode in the Health Check plugin:

https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/

Activate the plugin and go to Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting.

Enable Troubleshooting mode and it will disable all plugins and switch back to a default theme just for you (the admin).

Enable just Event Espresso again, which you can do from the admin bar -> Troubleshooting mode -> Manage Active plugins.

Then export a registration report again, does it work then?

To de-activate troubleshooting mode go to the Admin bar -> troubleshooting mode -> Disable Troubleshooting Mode.
