The event registration process is only completing in Chrome. In Safari, IE, & other browsers, when I the user clicks ‘Proceed to Finalize Registration’ the yellow box that says please wait while we process your information doesn’t appear and the user is returned to the top of the registration form page. There are no form validation errors and no sign of any events occurring, although the css for the cancel registration link and the recapcha disappears. Could you help us get this working on all browsers?

Hi there,
If you disable the recaptcha feature does the form submit correctly then?
You do this within Event Espresso -> Registration From -> Reg form settings.
Note – Chrome registrations don’t work for me, they are the same as Firefox, I’m assuming you are logged into Chrome when testing? (If so the recaptcha form is not shown when logged in)

Yes, once I disabled the recaptcha, I was able to sign up from Safari. Is this a known problem with recaptcha or an issue with how we have it implemented?

Hi there,
Yes it’s a known issue that some servers have troubles with the reCaptcha module that’s bundled with Event Espresso. I can recommend putting an alternative to reCaptcha on your site, like the Blackhole for Bad Bots plugin:
