The Event page is currently showing non working events from EE3 – the page is a mess. Need just current ‘active’ events on the Event page. |
Hi there, Do you currently have EE3 or EE4 activated? Can you please share a link to the events page? |

Hi there, Those are EE4 events that have been migrated from EE3 and they are showing as upcoming events due to the fact that their datetime end dates are set for into the future. For example, this event: {REMOVED} Has the datetime dates set to: September 1, 2019 – October 1, 2028 The So to fix this you can either, edit those additional events and set the datetime end date to a date in the past or remove the event completely. However, it looks like you had a lot of EE3 events that either didn’t have an end date set, had an end date set far into the future, or used a date format not recognised by EE4 so there are a lot of events. So, may I ask, do you need the migrated data from EE3 in EE4? One option is to reset EE4 back to default and NOT migrate the EE3 data over, you will need to recreate the new EE4 events and set up the setting once again but you wont have all of those migrate EE3 events to fix. |

Donation dates and membership events were basically set not to end. |

Hi Seth – did not want my pages public – and did hear back from tony to my private post – thank you! Think i am good will write back if i need you! |

Tony you mentioned converting EE3 to EE4 – there is only one form I would like to do that for it is the old Donation form – can I do that without creating a new Event for it to have it show up as donations? Either way new event or not – how would I convert just the one form. Thank you! |
In short, you can’t migrate/convert just a single entity from EE3 to EE4. You’ve mentioned a form and I assume you mean a single event within EE3? The migration scripts pull all of the details from EE3 into EE4 and you can only do it from fresh activation, meaning to run a migration right now you would basically lose everything in EE4 to re-pull everything from EE3 again and if that’s just for a single event you would be much quick just recreating that event in EE4 as you would need to delete everything else you didn’t need. |
