Can you confirm what page I should be editing to adjust the look of event pages? E.g.
http://www.yellowsubmarine.org.uk/events/surfing-in-dorset/
I want the event content to sit on a white background etc etc
Is it archive or single-post?

Hi Toby,
Try duplicating a page.php theme template. Then update the name of the file to:
single-espresso_events.php
Then next step is to have the new template retrieve information for your event.
Open the file for editing. You’ll see a line of code that calls the content of the page. Replace it with this and save changes:
espresso_get_template_part( 'content', 'espresso_events' );
