In the Event Options when creating an event, the “Alternate Email Address (optional)” help says:
Alternate Email Address
If an alternate email address is entered. Admin email notifications wil be sent to this address instead.
I think this is not accurate, as it apparently CCs instead of replaces. Is this a know error/typo in the help pop-up?

I think it originally did that, but then was changed and the help text was never updated. Thanks for reporting.

Hello,
Thanks for testing this setting. I’ve also tested with the latest version of Event Espresso 3 and it does send a copy of the email to the alternate email.
I’ll create a report for the developers to review.

If the R&P Pro allows further expansion then I think that maybe the R&P Basic should likely stay as a CC instead of replacing. I think the R&P Pro allows for the Event Manager to receive the particular event administrative emails.
It just depends on what the R&P Basic is meant to achieve.
