Is there a easy way to change the registration emails address for the Admin? when someone registers it sends the event author an email telling them someone has registered for that event. I have tried creating a new user and changing that in the event and it broke the emails to not show up at all. I tried to change them in the templates and that did nothing. ideas, i have launched a site for a customer and don’t want to keep getting emails once support for them is over.
You need to change the default message templates to use a different shortcode, likely [CO_EMAIL].
Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates.
Each of the templates shown there with an active ‘Event Admin’ context (the link will be blue – http://take.ms/owqIO) will need to be edited (click on the event admin link, not the template name) and the ‘To’ field changed.
For example the Registration Approve message template, editing the Event admin context will look like this – http://take.ms/uidNg
Using [CO_EMAIL] tells EE to use the email address set in Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Primary Contact Email.
