Hello, i am using wordpress 4.1, i have not purchased event espresso yet.
I am interested in using event espresso for event management on my website but i want some details about functionality.
1) i will have different user groups, i want one group to be able to create an new public event.
2) i want all users to be able to ask for a reminder for an event. Where the user simply declares that he/she wants to be reminded about said event x hours/minutes/days before and an email(or possibly sms) is scheduled and sent.

Unfortunately, Event Espresso does not support these features at this time and I’m not aware of any workarounds to meet those project requirements.
