Hello, I want to include some Event Meta codes in my Registration Confirmation Emails and on the Invoice. When I use the shortcode, they don’t come out in the email though. I just get this: [EE_META type=”event_meta” name=”event_code”]. The shortcode works in the event description though. Any way to fix this?

Hi Susan,

The shortcodes/tags available within the confirmation emails are different from the shortcodes available within the event description.

To add the output of the EE_META shortcode you would need to modify a core function used for the email shortcodes. However, for event meta you can simple add [event_meta] to the email and the value for that meta will be pulled in for the email.

So adding something like [some_meta] would output the value for that meta field – http://take.ms/df6bD (in this example the email outputs “Some meta”)
