I have added some events meta fields in the [Event List] section of the Receipt default message template, and do the same for Invoice default message template.
The fields in the Receipt default message template displayed correctly but the ones in the Invoice default message template are not displayed at all.
The [Event List] codes in both Receipt and Invoice default message templates are exactly the same. I couldn’t figure out what went wrong.
Appreciate your help.

May I ask, did you insert the [EVENT_LIST] short code into the Main Content section of the Invoice template?

No Josh.
I added the [EVENT_META_*] short codes in the [EVENT_LIST] section of the invoice template, because that is where the short codes are listed to be inserted into the template.
The [EVENT_META_*] shortcode are not listed under Main Content so definitely cannot add the shortcode there.

The [EVENT_LIST] section will not display in the invoice unless you insert the [EVENT_LIST] short code into the Main Content section of the Invoice template.

OK Josh..I think I got what you meant. It seems to show what I want now.
