Is it possible to have eventespresso send out only one email to the people who register, and that email have the actual ticket in it with the QR-Code ?
The first part of your question is possible: simply deactivate 2 of the following 3 message contexts:
Registration Approved
Payment Received
Ticket Notice
The second part is not possible because the tickets are actually generated on-the-fly as an html web page. They are not actual documents that can be attached to an email.
I disabled the “Registration Approved” template. But I still received the notification. It looked like it was on a batch-job schedule because I didn’t receive it right away. I received it after 2 minutes or so of registering ..
How did you de-activate the registration approved template?
If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates and look at the ‘Registration Approved’ template type in the list, which ‘contexts’ are blue and which are grey?
For example, here the ‘Primary Registrant’ context for the registration Approved message type is disabled, the other 2 contexts are enabled – http://take.ms/5Blo48
Ahh .. Yeap, I had disabled it only for the Event Admin ..
