Hello,

I am trying to upgrade my calendar from EE3 to EE4 and one of the biggest things holding me up is the calendar.

http://newfield.dmoran.co/member-resources/master-calendar/
http://www.newfieldclub.org/member-resources/master-calendar/

On the master site, the calendar works fine on EE3. my Staging site is not displaying any items on EE4 however.

These sites have not been upgraded to 4.5, they are both on 4.4.2

Any help is appreciated, thank you

Hello,

We appreciate you letting us know what you have tried as that helps speed up troubleshooting.

I was able to see the first URL but the second one would not load.

On the first one, it looks like there is a problem with the URL for a resource for the events calendar:

http://cl.ly/2D2k173I0o0S

Could you deactivate and remove the calendar add-on on the first URL that you shared and then download a fresh copy and upload and activate it?

Hey Lorenzo,

I updated to the most recent versions of the calendar and the core plugin. However, now I am noticing that users cannot switch months on the calendar. The current shortcode I am using is [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired="true" cal_view="month"], let me know if there is a setting to change this

Hi there,

You do not need cal_view="month" for that view as it is the default output, so you can juse use:

[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired=true]

(Also note the double quotes have been removed as you only need quotes around the value if it has spaces)

Have you altered any of the Calendar settings?

Make a backup of your database (just as a precaution) you can use a plugin such as Backup WordPress for this.

Now go to Event Espresso -> Calendar -> Advanced settings.

There you will find the option to reset the calendar settings. Set that to Yes and save the settings. That will reset the calendar config to default and should show the next/previous buttons once again.
