Hi- I am currently on EE3. I have the roles and permissions pro add-on. Case: I have different Event Managers that are responsible for and can see only their events. If they go into their EE Dashboard and click the button “Export All Attendee Data,” they are able to export data for all of our events- including events that are not theirs. This is really bad for us. Is there anyway to turn off this feature or for it to only export attendee data for their events? |
Hi Rachael, Roles and Capabilities are much better handled in EE4. With that said, were the events created by the admin, or the regional manager? Also, are all regional managers in separate regions? |

Thanks for the quick response. The event was created by a user with the role of Espresso Event Manager. It was published by an Admin. We have it set-up that all events have to be published by Admin after verifying the event, but can be created by an Espresso Event Manager. When they submit/save there event, it is “pending” status. We don’t have anyone set-up as a regional manager. |

Hi Racheal, I’ve run a few tests with the Roles and Permissions Basic and Pro addons, and haven’t been able to duplicate your issue. Each time, the manager can only download data associated with their events. I made sure to use the pending/Admin approval system to as closely match your setup as possible. What version of the following are you using? Event Espresso |

I am using the following: Everything is showing that it is up to date under my plugins. I logged in as the Event Espresso Manager and verified that they are able to export everything. |

Hi! Any word on this? We are still having this issue? Should I open a support ticket? |
Hi Racheal, You can remove the Export all buttons for events and attendees for the Event Managers by adding the code in this gist to your theme’s functions.php file or add it to a custom snippets plugin. |

I only want to hide the “Export All Attendee Data” and “Export All Event Data” not Attendees/Export to Excel. I just want to double check that this accomplishes the first scenario and not the latter. |
Hi there, I updated the gist so that it only accomplishes the former not the latter. |
