I currently use another plugin to display my class schedule which displays calendar on desktop and list on mobile (www.thezoneaft.com/schedule/). I like the list format that I have now in mobile view but would like an option for my members (users) to be able to register for classes. Ideally, I’d prefer to have my class schedule on mobile to keep the same look as now(list) with a “register” button to the right of each class so members can book a slot in that class, see attendees and slots available. Is this possible? I’ve purchased Eventespresso and calendar. My problem is with getting mobile view to display in list like I currently have with register button to right of each class. |
Hi Mike, There’s a readymade template add-on that works with EE4 that displays the event name, then a register link (the link can be styled to be a button), and it has an expandable details areas. Here’s a link to a demo: |

Would I be able to list events (my classes) by day of week with this template? For example: all of Mondays events & times. Then Tuesday’s and so on, like below: Monday. Venue. Date/time Boot camp The zone. 6/20 8am-9am Tuesday. Venue. Date:time Doesn’t have to be exactly like above but I’d like to display schedule by days of week. |
Hi Mike, The table template isn’t well suited for this unless you’re going to make a category for each day of the week, then assign each event to one of those categories. |

Josh, Forgive me, I’m new to this… Taking a couple steps back, I’ve already purchased pro, calendar and now table template. I like the calendar on desktop view. The plugin I have now to display schedule (www.thezoneaft.com/schedule) views as Simple and easy table on mobile view. Is there any way to change EE calendar to a table view on mobile similar to the one Im using now? OR add a register button to plugin I’m using now? I’m trying to keep it simple for my members to register for a specific class and time slot. If not, I kindly ask for a refund Thanks! |
Hi Mike,
Not without custom development, the calendar was not designed to switch layouts but it does remove details from the calendar and display on smaller devices. You could use the Calendar on larger screens and then completely hide the Calendar and display the Table View Template add-on for smaller screens. However based on the above you may also need custom development for the table view add-on as it does not display the events in the way you would like either.
To integrate EE with another calendar plugin would again take custom development (likely a lot). If the current plugin allows you to set a link that can be used within the output you can set that to the URL the user can use to register (which could be the EE event) but adding in a custom button would need the help of developer. Thanks for the quick reply. I had two more questions… 2 is there CDs I can add to show class names on mobile view. It shows category color now with no event name. Thanks |

Sorry, 2nd question is there css not CDs |
A ticket allows access to one or more datetimes, it sounds like you have a single set of tickets applying to all datetimes for your event. To allow users to register onto specific datetimes within an event you need to create a ticket for each of those datetimes. If you click the ‘cog’ icon next to the ticket you can select which datetimes that ticket applies to. So you want a ticket that applies to datetime one only. Then another ticket that applies to datetime two only and so on. Can you link me to one of you events? I can create an example with the same setup.
Can you clarify what you mean by CDs please? The Event Title is removed from the calendar on mobile view as it because hard to read depending on your title. You can force the Calendar to show the event title (name) using some custom CSS: #espresso_calendar .fc-event-title { display:block!important; } We recommend using either the My Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder plugins to add custom styles such as these. |
