You can do this with css. We’ve been doing a lot of custom formatting on our site – not sure it will be a major help to you but if you can use web dev tools in the browser, you can see how we’ve been modifying the placement with css:
@mamamojo if you are referring to the default event list (which shows on /events/) then you can move the order of the details using the settings in:
Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates -> Event List Pages
Set ‘Use Custom Display Order?’ to Yes and set the order you want to use in that section – http://take.ms/0OIzK
With regards to changing the ‘View Details’ to ‘Register’, it is possible to do, but usually the reason it shows ‘View details’ because your not showing the ticket selector on the event list. If you enable the ‘Display Ticket Selector’ option in the section above does it work better for you?
