Hello, my organization offers recurring training classes. Each class is 6-weeks long and occur one week a part. What is the best way to display class details simply and clearly? Basically, I need to include class information such as start date, end date, start time, end time, and a button to register. See the table on this page: https://andreaarden.com/dog-training/group-classes/puppy-class-part-one/ Can I edit the event list columns, the ticket selector columns, etc. to include more information? Or, is there a way to do this via event datetimes? Thank you for your help! |

Hi Sherry, I’m sorry for the delay. Event Espresso has a feature where you can input a datetime for each time the class meets. The datetimes can be displayed within a table listing of events if you install the Events Table template plugin, then add this shortcode to a page:

Thanks Josh! I do have the datetimes set up and have seen the various shortcodes available. I was wondering if there’s any way to modify the table columns to include start date, end date, start time, end time? Another question—is it possible to change the labels in the table header? Since we provide training courses, ideally we want “Event” to be “Class” and “Venue” to be “Location”. We may also make use of the calendar add-on. Is it possible to keep the “Category” filter but remove the “Venue” filter? Thanks for all your help and patience. This is a great tool and I think will serve us well once we get the hang of it all! P.S. When will the “Wait List” add-on be officially released? It seems to be working well. |

Hi Sherry, The events table template can be edited, but it does require a working knowledge of PHP to do so. The documentation has some basic instructions on how to make edits to the template: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/events-table-view-template-add-on/#customizations Changing the labels can be done by following any one of the methods listed here:
Not exactly, but you can set “Enable Category Legend” to Yes and set “Enable Filters in Calendar” to No and the calendar will show a Category Legend that allows for filtering by category only.
I’m afraid I do not know. |
