I have tried to set up event espresso on my website. Everything seems to be set up correctly, I can create events and venues from the admin portal, and I can see the created events and venues in the admin portal. However, no matter what I try, I cannot get the Events List or Venue List pages to show up. If I add them to the navigation, when I click the link, it redirects to the home page with a brief message that the page(s) were not found. The event page and the venue page also do the same thing. I have tried changing the event slug (in Events->Templates) to: But none of these seem to work. The site simply behaves as though event espresso is not installed and redirects all event espresso related urls back to the home page. |
Hi, We have an item in the troubleshooting guide for this issue: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#not_found |

Yes, I know. I saw that. I tried that. It did not work. Michael |
Oh? I would not have advised to go there had that been mentioned. Have you tried temporarily switching to another theme or any other of the steps mentioned there? |

I tried this: “Page not found when viewing an events page. This will happen if the site’s rewrite rules were reset too early or too late in a request. This can be fixed by visiting the site’s Settings → Permalinks page, which will flush the rewrite rules at just the right time.” Because that was the part of the page that addressed the issue I was having, (and the part that you linked to…) |
If you temporarily switch to another WordPress theme do the events pages display? Also, may I ask what is the event ID of one of the events that’s been added? |

I have tried deactivating all of the plug-ins. Did not help. |

OMG, now my website just disappeared?!?!??! |
That’s very unusual. You could restore your site from a backup point or contact your web host to investigate as there may be some issues with the web server. |

Hi, We received your request for priority support, but I’m afraid the log in information you sent is incorrect. If you can resend the support token form and include the correct information form, we can investigate further. |
