1) We have events set up that we created and the default mode right now is putting in some types of tickets automatically that we can’t delete. How do we only add tickets when we want to and get rid of the default tickets it is entering each time we create an event? 2) We have an event set for May 21st, 2022, yet it won’t appear on the list? 3) Can we make a featured image show up on the event list? 4) Is there any way to color code the events listed in the event list page? 5) Is there a way to make the date show up bigger on the event list so it has more focus? https://wdaco.org/events/ |
Hi there,
Event Espresso will always add at least 1 ticket to the event, you can’t have an event without a ticket. However, can you add a screenshot that shows what you are referring to here please as I’m not sure we are talking about the same thing? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots
It does appear, but on page 2: https://wdaco.org/events/page/2/ The output for that event list is controlled by your theme, its an ‘archive’ of EE events which your theme outputs and we inject additional details into. So what is output there depends a lot on your theme, and the number of events on each page is set within your site. Go to Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading. Find the ‘Blog pages show at most’ setting, it looks like it has been set to 5. Up that to 10 and your May 21st event will show on the first page, your first 10 events will show up based on the above setting.
As most of the output is controlled by your theme it’s up to your theme if the feature image shows. Your site is using Divi on the site, has Blog style mode been enabled? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/known-third-party-plugin-theme-conflicts/#divi
You can use some CSS to change some of the output, depending on what you need you may need to create a custom template from your theme and customize that. Can you add some details of what you want to change?
Sure, you can use some CSS to change how the elements display, for that example:
