I can’t figure out why it says this event is expired? It is open and the dates are within the range. Thank you!

Is the event sold out? What is the current status (top right area of event editor)?

No attendees registered so far.
Event is Open.
2014-04-30 Reg open
2014-10-09 Reg closed

Hi,
Try changing the status to something else and then saving changes. Then change it back to public:

Also ensure that the event has an end date.

Hi,
I sent a solution via email. I’m also posting it here to help other members.
The page is pointing to an old event that is no longer active.
Since, you are using a shortcode on a WordPress page, the event id for those shortcodes would need to be updated to point to the new event.
