Im trying to get this plugin to work with FacetWP to display categories to no avail. I can display the categories within a widget as expected but once you click the link it presents a blankscreen.
i would have thought that a premium priced plugin would allow for this standard display of content.
Is there any solution or am i going to have to go else where ?

Hi there,
Whilst I have no experience with FacetWP I’ll happily install it locally and see if I can reproduce if you’d like to send me a copy, if so you’ll need to host the file and include a link for me to download here (you can set your reply to private so its only visible to EE support).

A blank screen usually means theres a fatal being thrown, have you checked the server error logs to see if any errors are being logged on the request?

EE events are custom post types and you can use all of the ‘standard’ functions you can use on any other post. We extend that functionality using our EE_event object which then gives you access to all of the other data related to your event.
The EE event categories are terms within a custom taxonomy, but again that shouldn’t be causing problems.
