We have been using Event Espresso on our site at http://www.rccompetes.com for some time now. Just recently the plugin fails to update we get a message stating “internal server error” when we activate the plugin it now conflicts with the Avada theme causing “white screen of death” when trying to edit pages etc… Please advise ASAP.

When do you get that error? Just after clicking update?

WSOD means theres a fatal error being thrown, can you check your servers error logs to see what the error is and post is here please?

Tony, thank you for your reply we manually updated the plugin and raised the php memory limit to 1024M. These steps resolved the issue.
