Event Espresso Upgrade Issue

Hi,
After Upgrading Event Espresso plugin to latest version got the following errors.

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/loaders/CachingLoader.php on line 100
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Registry.core.php on line 1508
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Registry.core.php on line 1535
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_Registry.core.php on line 1580

How to fix the above issue?

Hi there,

Those errors mean your server is likely running PHP5.6 which has been end of life for a few years now:

I recommend contacting your host and have them update the version of PHP in use on the server, we do not currently support PHP8 at this time so I recommend switching to PHP7.4 (the latest version is 7.4.30).
