I was using this product on my website Saturday October 12 was the day of my event.
*presales was 1000 + tickets
*People were purchasing tickets on my site
*We were checking people in using the event espresso app
My Site Crashed!
I called my host provider GoDaddy and they reset and added more ban with
Today I am trying to prevent this from happening again
When I look at records my site was accessed by 2000+ at the same time
Godady said that was not the problem it was an app using too much CPU
Here are my current stats. they said the plan is fine the app using too many CPUs is the problem. During the website Crash we used 100% CPU

How can we fix this problem and prevent it from happening again.
We are done for the year so we do not have another event until May
We begin marketing in Feb so need this to be fixed for then

Hi,

From looking at what you’ve posted here, I’d recommend a more powerful CPU. This is not a matter of telling the site to use less CPU when it’s under load. The site the app connects to uses the server CPU, and if it’s hitting 100% CPU usage under load, then more CPUs will help avoid this in the future.

I’m not familiar with GoDaddy’s CPU options, but if for example you were on Digital Ocean and you were on a 1VCPU plan, you’d do well to go to a plan with 2 or 3 VCPUs. https://www.digitalocean.com/pricing/
