Hello,
I’m using the plugin mentionned in the post title and I see that the “Pay now” of the Stripe checkout is not translated in French (the screen where I enter my credit card details). I would like to translate it and to do so, Stripe told me that I need to change the “data-local” into “fr”. I think I need to change in within the EE4 Stripe gateway plugin.
Could you tell me where is “data-local” and how to change the language please?

Hi there,
In version 1.0.15.p of the Stripe add-on we added a ‘checkout locale’ option to the Stripe payment method settings – http://take.ms/TFfXF
That option sets for the data-local value on Stripe checkout.
You’ll find that within Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Stripe.
If you do not see that option you need to update to the latest version of the Stripe payment method.

How can we change this please?

The output is from Stripe themselves so the only change we can make is to set the locale on the checkout.
Can you link me to an event I can run a test registration on to view this please?

Ah, ok. I was wrong above.
The data-locale is correctly set to fr, but EE passess the text to be used on the Stripe modal, so we can translate it.
You’ll need to translate the string ‘Pay %1$s Now’.
