We have a question on emails that get sent out when a person is rescheduled and are part of a group of people in the same transaction. The system is resending the rescheduled email to everyone in the transaction group, not just the person who was rescheduled. Is there a way to stop this happening? Please contact us for a video we can share of the issue. |

Hi there, Thank you for the video, it helps. So a quick question here, in the video it’s the ‘Registration Approved’ email but you mentioned the ‘reminder’ email. So, I just want to confirm that the emails triggered here are from using the Attendee mover add-on to move that one registration and when triggering the notifications for that single registration move it triggered the Registration Approved email for all, is that correct? |

Great, thank you. And those emails were triggered when the single registration was moved to the other date? As in the registration was moved and on the last step it asks if you want to trigger notifications, that option was set to yes and it triggers emails for all? |

So that’s a workaround for this for the time being, but as you can only change a single registration at a time, that option should only trigger the current registration’s messages. I’ll create a ticket to investigate this further. |

Hi there, Ok, so I’ve confirmed the other registrants in the group should not receive an email when a registration is moved, that’s a bug from a change we made to fix an issue with ‘additional registrants’ not triggering emails when moved (that fix worked but can also trigger all registrant emails as you’ve experienced). I’ve made some changes to the Attendee Mover add-on which means that in the above situation the only emails that will be triggered are those related to the current registration. So in this example, the single registrant would have received 2 emails. The Registration Cancelled email for the ‘original’ registration and the Registration Approved email for the ‘new’ registration. If ‘Trigger Notifications’ is set to No, neither of those above will send. The changes are currently under review and will then be tested by someone other than myself (I made the changes and tested those when doing so but we try not to rely on testing our own work, another member of the team confirms before being pushed out) but if you would like to test this does indeed fix your specific use case I can send you a copy over to test if preferred? |
