I am just trying to find how and where to make these pages publicly accessible. The events page is dynamically created at http://www.ierg.org/events/ and the checkout page example can be seen from this event post: http://www.ierg.org/reissued-general-npdes-permit-for-storm-water-discharges-from-industrial-activities-webinar/

We are using the Members plugin http://themehybrid.com/plugins/members on the site and I have reached out to them as well but any direction would be appreciated…

Hi there,

The checkout page is a page you can edit. You go to WordPress > Pages and find the Registration Checkout page. Then you go to edit the page. The Members plugin adds a Content Permissions box to the page editor screen where you can unset the access limits to allow everyone to see it. You will also need edit the Thank You page and allow public access there too.

With regards to the /events/ url requiring a login, there may be a setting for the members plugin to allow for changing, or possibly code snippet you can use. Alternatively you can add a new page and set this shortcode on it to display a list of events.
