When exporting a Registrations CSV Report for Event Espresso – Registrations – Month/Year Filter Results, I get a 403 Error Message.

I saw a post on same topic last year and checked with host on possible issues and not see that as cause of issues. Please advise.

Admin registration filtered CSV giving 403 Error message.

Hi there,

What version of Event Espresso do you have installed? Are there any other details provided in the error logs for that 403 error?

BTW – I just tried this on version 5.0.3 and did not get the same error. So, I just need more information to look at this further.

Hi Garth,

I recently updated to Event Espresso 4 Core Regular v5.0.3.p and it caused another issue with an error when displaying registrations for a specific event. My EE support dev fixed the issue but indicated it is a core plugin issue. Also, after the install of v5.0.3.p, I’m still seeing a 403 when attempting to create a Registrations CSV Report for a specific month.

Can you add more details on this, please? What was/is the core plugin issue?

Also, after the install of v5.0.3.p, I’m still seeing a 403 when attempting to create a Registrations CSV Report for a specific month.

A 403 Forbidden error is a server side error meaning either something is blocking the request or it simply didn’t know what to do with it.

Do you have any security plugins enabled on the site?

I’ve tried testing on a clone of our website with no Wordfence, Lightspeed ManageWPWorker and still seeing the 403.

I’ve tested the Month/Year filter on multiple different hosting from really cheap shared hosting to my own dedicated server and I’m not getting a 403 when using that filter.

So, right now it looks like either a plugin conflict (usually a security plugin) or something on the server itself.

What type of hosting are you using?

I think we found the issue and it appears resolved: it was a conflict with Litespeed Web Server 6.1 but version 6.0.12 (build 13) works fine.
