I get the message: “Event Espresso recommends PHP version 5.4.44 or greater for optimal performance. You are currently running version 5.4.37.”
Is there anything in particular I need to watch out for?
It will be a ballache changing PHP versions again so I would prefer to avoid it if possible!

Hi Jonathan,
Event Espresso recommends the latest version of PHP 5.4 as it includes all of the latest security fixes. You shouldn’t notice any difference with EE functionality with both of those versions.
However if you take a look HERE you’ll see that PHP5.4 is actually EOL and no longer receiving any updates so it is recommended to consider updating the version of PHP used on the server when you can.
