I updated WordPress this morning and all the plugins. Since then, the EE pages aren’t working and the EE core plugin is missing from the plugins. I still have the EE Stripe and Ticketing plugins active. I have tried appending the /wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset to my domain without suceess. I don’t mind to reinstall the plugin, but I do not want to loose the previously existing registrations and the events. Thanks for any help recovering the EE installation.

I fixed it. Reinstalled from the latest zip and all my data remained intact.

Hi Tyle,
Firstly, I’m glad you fixed it. It sounds like an update failed and wiped out the directory, so the fix is indeed to reinstall the plugin.
Just to note around this:
I have tried appending the /wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset to my domain without suceess.
Whilst that specific URL is fine, be really careful when trying stuff like this as we do have actions within EE to reset the DB, the above is not it and would have been fine, but just a note to be careful in that section 🙂
