Hi guys,
We want to use NAB Transact (our Australian Bank) to accept payments through event espresso on our WordPress Website. We used to use Majira but now that has been discontinued. Were are now using PAYPAL but finding the fees too expensive. We want to use our Australian bank as our primary payment gateway because the fees are much less.
We have contacted NAB transact and they have advised us to check with your requirements and report back to them?
Can you please advise how we can connect NAB transact?

Hi Rebecca,
In short, you would need a custom payment method to connect Event Espresso to NAB Transact and also to receive details back from them to update the payments within your site.
We created an EE4 ‘payment method’ for Mijireh so that EE communicated with Mijireh and then Mijireh communicated with the various payment providers they supported. As Mijireh has closed down any integration would currently need to be direct to the merchant itself.
Depending on the intergration type you want with NAB and what they actually offer will determine the ‘type’ of EE payment method required but in any case, it’ll require custom development as we have one currently.
You could try contacting the folks at WP Gateways as they have already created some payment methods for EE4 so may be able to create a payment method for you.
