The red bar error: Event Espresso must be configured. Go to the Organization Settings page to configure the plugin “Page Settings.” will not go away. I am using EE3 (I need the multi-event booking add on) I have read other posts about this matter and have followed the advice given. Including deactivating and deleting and reinstalling event espresso. Pressing save again (and again). Not sure what else to do… |
Hi Brian, If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Does your ‘Page Settings’ section look like this – http://take.ms/7Ukhe If you view one of your Events, does it display correctly or no work at all? Have you altered any of the Event Espresso shortcodes, for example [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]? |

Hi Tony, yes the page settings look exactly like that. I verified all was correct but otherwise have not edited the default pages. The event page and event listings all work fine. As does the cancelation page. I have not yet finished the payment set up so the transaction page gives the following error message “An error occurred. No ID or an invalid ID was supplied.” which I think makes sense at this point. The thank you page just shows the shortcode “[ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS]” Perhaps because I have not finished the payment setup? I have all 4 pages set to not show in the navigation menu. But I don’t think that should have any affect on it. |
The thank you page should still parse the shortcode without payments being set up. If you edit the thank you page, make no changes and just click update, then view the page is it the same? Do you have another ‘Thank you’ page on your site other than the one for EE? |

Editing the page making no changes and updating did not change anything. I have a page titled “Thank You!” The exclamation point makes it different, and it has always been that way. |
Hi Brian, Have you tried changing those page settings to point to another page, saving, then changing them back? |

That worked! I created a new page for each (event registration 2, transactions 2, etc) Pasted the short codes. made the changes on the page settings, and saved. No change. Then I switched them all back to the original pages pressed save again and it worked, the configure page settings message went away! Thank you. |
Great! I’m glad that worked. Just let us know if you have any further problems. |
