Dear support,
I have recently tried to login to my event espresso using the iphone app but with my surprise I got the following error: Sorry, you are not allowed to list events. Missing permissions: ee_read_events, ee_read_others_events, ee_read_private_evetns
this seems odd since I am the full administrator and all the permissions are selected. any ideas?

Hello,
Are you running into this issue with the latest version (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/) of Event Espresso 4 along with the mobile apps?
If so, please try this solution:

yes I have the latest version of EE 4.9.4.p and same for the app on my iphone
I will look into the solution you suggested and comoe back to you once done
