Hi,
I’m trying to install the Event Espresso Importer but I’m not seeing how to do it correctly. Would you be able to tell me what I’m doing wrong?
I’ve gone to My Account on the EventEspresso site and downloaded the Event Espresso Importer from the bottom right hand section of the My Account page. Then in WP admin I’ve gone to Add Plugins, Upload Plugin which asks for a plugin in a .zip format.
The EE installation guide also says “Then select the zip file and begin the upload process” but I don’t see a zip file in the eea-importer folder that was downloaded.
Can you let me know where the zip file is?

Hi Brooke,
It sounds like your computer automatically unzipped the file if all you have now is a folder named “eea-importer”. The Safari browser for the Mac is known to do this.
You could either compress that folder back into a zip file or use a different browser (like Firefox) to download the zip file from your account page.
