Hi — I’ve added the JSTOR plugin for our website so that we can begin using the EEHD app. The test drive example works, however when I go to login to our own website, it gives me a credentials error, even though the login credentials I’m using for the website are correct. I even tried creating a new user in WP to test and I get the same “sorry, can’t log in” message. Please assist! Thanks, |
Hi Anna, Which platform are you using, iOS or Android? Do your passwords contain special characters such as &, # or !? |
Hey Josh — iOS — no weird characters |
Can you send me temporary log in details so I can test this please? Please use this form to send: |
Yes – thanks Tony! |
Hi, I had no problem logging in with those details. Within the website url field are you just adding your domain there? |
just the domain “www.amazingmeeting.com” — I’ve tried for two different sets of credentials and gotten the same response “Sorry, can’t login Please update your credentials and try again” |
Oddly enough, I can login with your credentials though! Question: all of our tickets are showing up as events, instead of it being one event with multiple tickets. Why is this? |
The reason for this is that what you are calling ‘tickets’ are actually individual events within Event Espresso rather than a Single event with multiple ticket options. If you go to Event Espresso -> Event Overview you’ll see a list of your individual events. Each new line is a separate event. |

Thanks Tony — I have to tell you, we used an Event Espresso approved vendor and have had a nightmare of a time with him. He’s the one that set this up incorrectly. What is the login solution? |
Is it the ‘editor’ accounts you are trying to log in with? |
No – main administrator accounts |
Hmm, strange. Its possible the capabilities of those accounts have been altered, preventing them from logging in via the app. You could try temporarily changing the password to match something similar to the password on the account you provided for me, this is to check its not an issue with the password length or some character causing issues. If that doesn’t work the capabilities of those accounts will need to be checked using a plugin sure as user role editor and check the accounts have all of the admin capabilities. |
