Hi, we have purchased the grid view add-on for our website and we would like to change the display of it from 4 column to 3 column. How can we achieve it? An other question is the size of the image. If I set the size with the css then the image will be blurry because it is using the thumbnail size what is 150px. Is it possible to change the image size from thumbnail to a bigger one?

Thanks , Bea

Hi there,

we would like to change the display of it from 4 column to 3 column.

Theres nothing within the grid template which sets the number of columns, it just fills the space available but you can use CSS to alter that.

Can you link me to the page you are using it on so I can take a look?

Is it possible to change the image size from thumbnail to a bigger one?

It is, you’ll need to override the template used to set your own size, are you using a child theme on the site?

Hi,

I have already figured that out with the css but I was hoping there was an other option because I don’t want to work that much with extra coding…

https://staging.armanl.eu/test/upcoming-events/ this is the link.

We don’t have a child theme, we use Astra as a theme with Elementor.

An other question came up, because this is a staging website and I would like to migrate the plugin back to the online website, but I have changed a lot already in the plugin and I would like to copy the changes as well. Is there a way to export and import settings for example?

Thanks again, Bea

We don’t have an option to set the columns within the add-on so it needs to be done with CSS.

I’d recommend setting up a Child theme for astra, you’ll need to load a custom template for the above change and the best way to do that is within a child theme.

Astra have a child theme generator here:

Not currently no, we don’t have a way to export Event Espresso from site A to site B at this time. You would need to either copy the whole database over, or reapply the settings on the live site (if the content differents between staging and live then reapplying the settings would be the only way to do it at this time).
