Hi there, Just sent an email but realised this should probably be posted on here instead! I’m looking to build a holiday booking system for a client of mine and came across Event Espresso as a prospective solution. I have a few questions before purchasing however, and was hoping to address them if possible. 1. Is it possible to set a select a set number of date ranges and display these as a dropdown menu for the customer to choose from? Thank you very much in advance, |
Hi Tim, Event Espresso does not work well for bookings/appointments but we may be able to meet most of your requirements. Approximately how many dates ranges will you need to be made available? — |

Hi Tim, This is what I’ve come up with for Event Espresso 4: http://cl.ly/image/05301s03120D Each date range and room would be created as a separate event. These would then appear on the calendar and the event listing page. A registrant would then select the correct date range and room by clicking on it. You’ll notice that the first option is required with the add-ons being optional. If any of the add-ons are purchased, then extra attendee information will be requested. T-shirts and insurance information could be requested as a custom question. Partial payments aren’t currently available but you could create a separate event to handle a balance due. You can’t add a registrant to an existing registration at this time. The original would need to be cancelled and then a new one created through the WP dashboard. — |
