Event Espresso disappeared from my dashboard. All pages related to Event Espresso are not working. Pages are redirecting to Homepage. |
Hi there, Are you able to check the WordPress Dashboard’s Plugins page to see if the Event Espresso plugin is activated? |
hi! It seemed to have been activated either automatically or by my IT guy (he’s sleeping now). We had set up 3 events, plus promo codes. Everything had been working for about a 1 week. I had the free version and did not upgrade. Does the free version expire? I thought it was just free. |
I’m looking at dashboard now and see that it does need to “activate”. I wonder if it de-activated somehow? |
Do I need to purchase a Personal License for $69.95? I am trying to “activate” it, but it is not working. It is saying I need to visit the plug in site. |
You already own the EE4 Everything license, so no need to purchase another license. The free version does not expire, but your IT guy may have deactivated the plugin for some reason. Are you sure there isn’t a second copy of Event Espresso installed on your site? The reason I ask is because the free version does not include support for promotional codes. If you can complete the secure form on this page, someone from Event Espresso support staff can investigate further. |
Actually, I see you have filled out a redeem a support token form so we’ll review and follow up with any further questions here. |

OK I think what happened was whoever made the changes to your server earlier changed things so the server is using PHP version 5.2, and Event Espresso requires at least PHP version 5.3.29. Can you contact your host and ask them to upgrade the server to run PHP 5.6 or higher? After it’s upgraded you’ll be able to activate Event Espresso 4 again. |
Will all my associated pages and settings be activated at that time? Or do I need to recreate everything again? Also, you said: “The reason I ask is because the free version does not include support for promotional codes.” So does this mean I need to purchase a Personal License to be able to use promo codes? As I said before, I had set up 2 promotional codes before and they were working. I do not think I have a second version set up on the site. |
What does this mean? |
Ok. I found all my Events that I had already created. |
It means that the support license for the sandims account is already in use on the couplesdoingbetter.com domain. You can contact the sales team and they can assist you with getting a support license key for the principleskills.com domain. |
