Hi all the plugin : event-espresso-core-reg 4.9.12 is not letting me login to my site.
I have had deactivate it to log in and have been advised to possibly update the plugin, would this work ? and if i do update will i lose the events i have created to date?
Without knowing all the facts I can’t say for sure if the solution will only involve updating to the current version, but updating to the current version of EE4 will be a great first step. You will not lose the events when you update, however it is recommended to back up your database first.
I hope to provide you with more information before i update the plugin.
I am on a fully hosted service with Dream-host “Dreampress 2” and the error code i received is as below:
Code :EE_Error thrown
Hooked in model extension ‘EEME_Person_Event’ too late! The model Event has already been used! We know because the action AHEE__EEM_Event__construct__end has been fired
Hope this helps and i look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yes it confirms a few things. So you updated to the current version of WordPress (4.7), but have not updated Event Espresso in quite a while. So the way forward is you need to update to the current version of Event Espresso 4. Remember you will not lose any data by updating to the current version of EE4, and you can avoid issues like these by keeping the software up to date.
