Hi Adrian,

That’s a new one I’ve not seen before.

How did you install Event Espresso (or if you’ve recently updated, how did you apply the update)?

Any errors in the server error log? (Your host will usually have a section in your control panel to view errors)

I was hoping you had seen this before.
EE has been installed for a few years and has been working well.
This only seemed to happen after updates to Site Origin plugin caused issues with screen layout (though this could be just coincidence as we dont look at the configuration screens that often).
Let me dig around in the error logs to see if I can find anything. If you have a pointer on a specific log or a specific location that would help.

Your host will usually have a section on your control panel to view any PHP error, or they are usually stored within an error_log or error.log file within the root directory of the site.

To rule out a plugin conflict you can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/

Install and activate that plugin, then go to Dashboard -> Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting. Enable Troubleshooting.

What that will do, is deactivate all plugins and switch you to a default theme, but only for you, the logged in admin.

In the admin bar you’ll now see ‘Troubleshooting mode’, hover there and manage active plugins.

Enable Event Espresso and see if you get the same iff with just that active.

If not, re-activate plugins one by one and refresh the EE general settings page to find the conflicting plugin.

Once you’ve finished with troubleshooting mode go to the admin bar again and click ‘Disable Troubleshooting mode’ to switch back to normal.

(Note – whilst I’ve had no issue at all with the above plugin and use it a lot, I still recommend creating a database backup before doing the above just to be safe.)
