Hi, I recently purchased EE4.
It is clashing with the Landing Pages plugin by Inbound Now that I am using and causes all my Landing Pages disappear instead I get a non-formatted page of website’s home page menu items. The problem disappears as soon as I deactivate Event Espresso.
How can I fix the problem?
Thanks

Hi Cigdem, do you have a link to a page so we can take a look?

I have not used that marketing plugin but there are likely errors appearing that will help with troubleshooting.

Thanks

This is what happens to all the landing pages and rest of the website works fine. All my content disappears as soon as I activate event espresso. I would appreciate quick reply as I need to keep the landing pages up and running for the campaigns.

Thanks.

Hi, did you recently move the site from a local computer to a remote server?

There are some broken links and one of them is trying to load as a localhost:

One more thing — I use Genesis on one of my own WordPress sites and it looks like your stylesheet isn’t loading. There should be a link like this:

/wp-content/themes/genesis-child-theme/style.css?ver=2.0.1

No, the website is not moved. That broken link is probably not related to the problem. The landing pages seem to be working but when it loads the content disappears and is replaced with non-formatted text of home page menu items.
I can’t use Event Espresso if it puts down all my landing pages.

Actually, it wouldn’t load that stylesheet. I was thinking this was a Genesis squeeze page and it isn’t since it runs through a separate plugin:

Could you double-check on the broken links that are being shown?

The plugin clashes with “Landing Pages plugin by Inbound Now”. It is not Genesis that I’m using. And broken links have probably nothing to do with it, the landing pages still seem like working but the content is not shown.

I have to deactivate Event Espresso again in order to keep the landing pages from being distorted. Because my client has campaigns running and we need to landing pages to work properly.
Thank you for your help and I would appreciate if you could offer me any solution to fix the issue.

Does your landing page plugin load its stylesheets via the wp_enqueue_style function, on the wp_enqueue_scripts hook? If not, here’s a guide that shows how:

Hi there,

I went ahead and downloaded the Landing Pages plugin to find out more about it.

There’s a possible fix you can try by going in and editing the Landing Page plugin’s /module/module.landing-page.php. Right at the beginning on line 4 you’ll find this:

add_filter('single_template', 'lp_custom_template' , 13 );

You can try changing the above to **or** adding on the very next line:

add_filter('template_include', 'lp_custom_template' , 13 );

And that should make it load for you.

Thanks a lot Josh. I did what you suggested and it is working now. Paragraph spacing of bullet points lists shrank. Other than that the page is now showing correctly.

Thank you again for your help.

Hi,

Is there anything else we can help with regarding this topic or may we mark it as resolved?
