Hello,

We have a paid subscription of iThemes Security and when trying to enable two factor authentication, it won’t allow us to do it, because it shows the following notice:

Notice: Please verify your server’s time is correct before enabling this feature. Your server time must be within 30 seconds of your two-factor device for this to be successful. Your server is reporting the current time as 5:24:41 am This time was taken when this page was loaded and may be old. You may want to refresh this page to verify the correct time.

This is 5 hours ahead. After going through support with iThemes, we finally discovered that the Event Espresso plugin is the one causing this issue. When disable, the server time becomes normal.

How do we fix this issue with Event Espresso?

Thanks!

I forgot to mention that YES, I did notice this note in the plugin:
Note: You must set the time zone for your city, or the city closest to you. UTC time will not work.

This is fixed in Event Espresso 4.
