This was working fine last year but a Page I was using to show more than one category with the proper shortcode now only works with one category, the other two categories error out with 500 Server Error, looked at the logs and nothing shows. Using version v3.1.36.5.P.
I would start by enabling WP_Debug on the site and see if any errors are thrown on the page.
Do any of the events within the “mens” category contain an Event Espresso shortcode within the description?
Such as the [EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY event_category_id=”mens”] calling an event with [EVENT_LIST] within the description, causing an infinite loop.
The event espresso templates have been modified and as such it could be one of those modifications, the simplest way to check for this is to temporarily rename the wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates to something else, such as templates-temp, then reload the page with the shortcode and see if it loads the events.
(note that whilst this directory has been renamed all EE customised templates across the site will not be used and the defaults within event-espresso/templates/ will be used to display the events)
