Do you know if it is possible to use the plugin WP Data Tables to display data on the front end of the website in order to create custom reports? If not, do you know how this can be done besides exporting/using Excel.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for contacting us.

Can you please give me some more details about what exactly you want to show in the front end with the plugin?

I would like to add some buttons for certain reports such as a company list report. So that when they click the button it generates a sorted list of attendees by company. Or another that gives them a count by iondustry for prospects. These are all questions in the registration field, so I would be trying to query that data.

Hi Tom,

Unfortunately, there is no such options to integrate the Event espresso plugin with WP Data Tables.

However you can add the content manually to the WP Data Tables plugin.

What is the status of custom reporting in Event Espresso? Is there any way to query custom data into a report?

The data is available using the Event Espresso models, see:

https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/tree/master/docs/G–Model-System

Generally, we don’t work through code examples on the forums, and if you need answers to questions, you could create an issue in the GitHub public Event Espresso repository, labelling it a question and provide an example of what you want to achieve. Our team will not be able to code this for you but the developers might be able to give some guidance.
