Event Espresso and Postman smtp Plugin not sending confirmation emails

Hello,

I have Event Espresso installed on a wordpress website and I have Postman SMTP installed to handle the emails.

I went for postman as I was having trouble receiving emails from wordpress (registration emails, notifications) pretty much everything apart from the WordPress test email.

I can now get my initial registration email after creating an account but I dont seem to be able to get any Event Espresso emails with regards to my event or purchase of the event.

I’ve had a look in the Event Espresso settings to see if there is a setting I need to turn on but cant seem to find anything.

Everything else goes through, I can register for the event and pay for it and it does appear in my admin panel as ‘Registered’ but there is no confirmation.

Is there something i could have missed in the set up?

Hi Phil,

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates.

Do you see a list message template there or nothing?

If you then go to the Settings tab in that same section, make sure you are in the email section and click to toggle to disable it, wait a few seconds an re-enable it – http://take.ms/3MdxP

That will make sure your message templates are set up.

Also can you link me to an event I can run some test registrations on please?

hi Tony,

I have checked the templates and they are there. I disabled it and re-enabled it. Il try again now ive done that. If that doesn’t work then is it possible IM you the link?
