I used the global message templates for my newly created Event. When I send myself a test email, the email I get is displaying the details for the wrong event. I was thought that these templates automatically pull from whatever event they are associated with… ??

I tested from the edit mode of the template. I finally figured it out when I published the event and then registered using an invoice. I got the confirmation email with the correct data.
