My page was working fine, but now it’s showing Event Details multiple times for the same event. I only have one event running. How can I change this?
This issue is not Yoast afterall. I thought it was Yoast because it was the only plugin that had to be updated, then after the update, multiple EE ticketing details would appear. I should note, this would happen after WP Engine Smart Plugin updates, as well as a manual update.
Support at Yoast said it wasn’t their plugin because the multiple ticket selectors would appear if they disabled Yoast all together. After fidgeting with it, I was able to do a work around: disable Yoast, update the plugin, activate the plugin. Fixed! One ticket selector! BUT…
This morning, after my automatic Smart Plugin Manager update, the problem happened again! I reverted my site back to before the automatic update.
This time Jetpack and one other plugin had to be updated. (Sorry, don’t remember the other plugin.) I manually updated both plugins and the error did not occur. It’s fine, showing one ticket selector.
So, I’m wondering if there’s an issue with the WP Engine SmartPlugin manager? I also have the EE support key activated, which also does updates. Are they in conflict?
It’s likely something else causing this. What we’ve seen in the past was another plugin or a theme function hooking into the WordPress the_content() filter. The EE support key would not affect this because it doesn’t hook into the the_content() filter.
