As I understand it, I can either use the EE Event List or drop the shortcode on a new page in my theme. When I use the EE Event List (no shortcode) the names of the events are listed but there is no other information. No date or venue. Just the name of the event and the description I provided. Is this normal or should the date and/or venue be appended to each event?
The event dates can be included in the event list. There’s a setting that you can adjust to make this change.
You go to your site’s Event Espresso > Events > Templates page, then under the heading “Event List Pages” you’ll adjust the settings for “Display Datetimes”, “Display Venue Information”, and so on.
FYI. I had all of those settings set to yes but it didn’t work. For some strange reason I got up this morning and took a look and the dates were there. Don’t know what happened.
