Event Contributor User Roles

when i assign somebody as an Event Contributor they get zero abilities/permissions.
all they can do is edit their profile

we need the ability to let these people edit the events but not the rest of the site. is this not possible?

Hi Ted,

Just to note I’ve merged your threads together.

Did you create the Event Contributor role yourself?

Are you using the Roles and Permissions Add-on?

all im doing is selecting event contributor in the drop down on the user page

Hi Ted,

It turns out that an “Event Contributor” role means nothing to Event Espresso 3. It’s likely that role was added by another plugin or something. You will need to install the EE3 Roles and Permissions add-on, then you can assign the “Espresso Master Admin” role to a user account and they’ll be able to access Event Espresso 3 features.
