Hello, The theme I am using gives a style to the event category pages as in https://alphastar.academy/event-category/cs201/. How can I break this styling and format the view as in Table View Template. It is also for the default events page https://alphastar.academy/events/. Thanks in advance. |

I put the espresso-events-table-template.template.php file to the child theme folder and renamed it to archive-espresso_events.php. It is working. I will contact you with further problems. Thanks… |

I replaced the espresso-events-table-template-toggle.template.php as archive-espresso_events.php. But it does not look like the one in the https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/ee4-events-table-toggle-expanded.jpg Also the filter on the top is not working. Thanks. |

Hi there, Those templates are not intended to be uses as page templates.
The image you linked to is a different template from the same add-on, it’s the ‘toggle’ template – However, again, that’s expected to be called through a shortcode to add its assets to the page. If you are going to use those templates as direct page templates your going to need to call the assests on the page yourself. Take a look within |

Thanks, in that case I cannot use it. Back to my top question then: The theme I am using gives a style to the event category pages as in https://alphastar.academy/event-category/cs201/. How can I break this styling. Thanks in advance. |

The same way you did above, only You can use the table view template as a base to build your own output but there is going to be more involved than just renaming the template as mentioned above. |
